Director

John Kovach, assistant field hockey coach at the Towson University, is the director of Interstate Field Hockey Camp. His 27 years of experience in field hockey includes:

		Second year Assistant Coach at Towson University
		Spent 9 years as Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach at the University of Virginia. Team was ranked #10 in the Nation in the final NCAA 2001 poll. The team has also been ranked in the top 10 during the 7 previous years.
		Coached UVA goalies to #1 National Ranking in '97
		Asst. Coach for 2000 USA Women's U-19 Team
		Asst. Coach for 2000 USA Men's National Teams
		Men's U.S. National Team Selector 2004
		Asst. Coach for '98 USA U-19 Team. USFHA Team of the Year
		First ever NCAA Division 1 Final Four appearance in '97 for UVA. The team returned to the Final Four in 1998.

Shot Stoppers provides a perfect environment for goalkeeping development. John Kovach will direct the instruction for the entire camp each day. Collegiate goalies will serve as counselors and demonstrators during sessions and assist in the teaching of all goalkeeper skills.
